A Personal Journey through Art and Life
I’m Simona Almajan, my head is pretty often in the clouds and I believe that my feet are both deeply grounded. I began painting because I felt that I could and I wanted to.
I am mother of two restless children and wife of a wonderful man. Sometimes my daughter paints with me.
Art for me is an extraordinary mean of communication that reveals the deepest human secrets in harmony, without judgment, without pros and cons, simply by being as it was created by the artist.
Whether we are in business, science, technology, or art, I firmly believe that we are all artists in our ways. Important thing is to allow ourselves to create and explore. Expressing ourselves through art supports us in all other areas of our life. Once we allow yourselves to be who we truly are, we grow in power, courage, self-esteem, and we can give from our abundance to others.
I paint because it brings me joy
Because it frees me from constraints, and it allows me to completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Art gives me the freedom to express what cannot be said in words.
Through each work, I explore my emotions, dreams, and my inner experiences. Every brushstroke is a way of translating how I perceive the world around me.
Painting is the space where I completely escape, where I allow myself to explore and create. I started painting simply by following my instinct and inspiration. That’s how I created custom pieces for colleagues, integrating them into their home designs.
Art is more than a passion for me. It is a personal journey, a way to rediscover myself and my freedom and a way to express my emotions.
Each painting is a symbol of this freedom, a space where my values – freedom, love, friendship, passion – come to life. Through art, I aim to inspire and create connections. My art is an invitation to explore, dream, and live life in harmony with your own experiences and emotions.

Freedom is a maker of my identity – it’s how I do things that I feel and desire, without being constrained by others' expectations or norms. In the same way, I believe each of us carries the desire to create, explore, and uniquely express ourselves.
If you've ever thought that you don't have the courage or talent to follow your dreams, let me tell you something: inspiration is not a feeling that comes out of nowhere – it appears during the process of creation, as you allow yourself to make mistakes, experiment, and learn. That’s how I started painting. I didn’t follow any course, nor did I have a formula, but I felt the urge to express what I couldn't say in words. And once I took that first step, I felt I could create more and more.
Art isn’t about perfection, but about the freedom to express emotions, thoughts, and perceptions of the world. Each of us is a unique blend of experiences and ideas.
Art has taught me that freedom comes from the act of doing. Don’t wait to be “ready,” just start creating and trying. With each step, you will discover new ways of thinking, find the courage to express what you feel, and become more aware of your abilities.
